Abstract
The author presents the vegetal communities with Nepenthes and other insect ivorous species studied in Malaysia (south-east Asia) : Cameron Highlands ( low herbaceous community with Dicranopteris linearis and Nepenthes sp., scr ub community with Vaccinium sp. and Baeckea frutescens), Bake National Park , on sandstone and sterile sands (Casuarina nobilis Dacrydium beccarii tree community, Baeckea frutescens scrub community epiphytic community with Nep enthes sp. and myrmecophilous species, small marsh with Burmannia, Nepenthe s, Drosera spathulata, Utricularia racemosa), mount Kinabalu (lateritic oli gotrophic slopes with Nepenthes fusca, cloud forest with Gymnosperma, Fagac eae, Nepenthes tentaculata and N. lowii, low forest on ultra-basic rocks wi th Dacrydium gibbsiae, Leptospermum recurvum and Nepenthes villosa).
