Abstract
The excess function formalism was used to represent vapour-liquid equi libria (VLE) of binary systems formed by CO2 and one polar or non-pola r component. Models were investigated that were capable of representin g VLE data over a large interval of temperature. A predictive model wa s also proposed for this family of mixtures.
