B. Liu et K. Shen, Characteristics, formation conditions and distinguishing specialization ofinclusions in the aquamarines in Xinjiang, ACTA PETR S, 16(4), 2000, pp. 633-638
The samples of aquamarine were collected from the Granite-pegmatite of Keke
tuohai in Aletai of Xinjiang. There are many kinds of inclusions in these s
amples and the assemblage of melt-gas-liquid and CO2 + H2O immiscible fluid
inclusions is of the distinctive characteristics. The trapping temperature
s of the inclusions range from over 700 to 200 degreesC and trapping pressu
res from over 300 MPa to 200 similar to 100 MPa. The special kinds of inclu
sions and their thermodynamic parameters are the most effective indicators
by which the aquamarines in this region can be distinguished from those in
the other regions and from synthetic or treated aquamarines.
