Abstract
Persons infected with HIV display a variety of vascular abnormalities and h arbor particularly striking alterations in endothelial morphology and funct ion. We review the effects of the virus and viral products on the endotheli um and emphasize their effects on altering the clinical expression of HIV-a ssociated diseases.
