Abstract
Substituted 1,6-naphthyridine derivatives, a new class of human cytomegalov irus inhibitors, were prepared to demonstrate the role of intramolecular hy drogen bonds to maintain the compounds in their active conformation. (C) 20 00 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
