Fl. Tello et Dm. Hernandez, Performance evaluation of nine hormone assays on the Immulite 2000 (R) immunoassay system, CLIN CH L M, 38(10), 2000, pp. 1039-1042
We evaluated the analytical performance of the Immulite 2000(R) immunoassay
analyzer (Diagnostic Products Corporation, Los Angeles, USA) based on a ne
w detection technology, electrochemical luminescence. The evaluated analyte
s were thyrotropin, triiodothyronine, free thyroxine. follitropin, lutropin
, prolactin, cortisol, estradiol and progesterone. We tested the assay prec
ision, linearity, recovery, and correlation with comparison methods for the
se analytes. For most assays, within-run and between-day imprecisions were
less than 8% and 10%. respectively. The linearity and recovery were accepta
ble for all assays. The correlation between the Immulite 2000(R) assays and
comparison methods showed satisfactory results.
