Abstract
The factorization method, related to supersymmetry in quantum mechanics and Lie algebras, is revisited, and the representations and properties of ladd er operators originated from "natural" and "nonnatural" boundary conditions is discussed. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
