Based on relativistic Dirac-Fock-Slater calculations of the photoelectron a
ngular distribution nondipolar parameters for the elements 1 less than or e
qual to Z less than or equal to 54 in the kinetic energy range, E-kin up to
5000 eV, the dependence of the parameter gamma on Z- and E-kin-values is d
iscussed. This dependence has regular behavior for each subshell and can be
explained using analytical expressions for nondipolar parameters. The spec
ific behavior is expected near the Cooper minimum. This is demonstrated for
