A technique was developed for closure of gastrotomy and enterotomy incision s using disposable skin staples. The technique was used successfully in thr ee dogs with gastrointestinal linear foreign bodies that required a gastrot omy and one or more enterotomies. The method allows for secure closure of g astrointestinal incisions and minimizes the surgical time in patients requi ring multiple gastrointestinal incisions.
