Abstract
The photodegradation of a variety of donor-acceptor-substituted azobenzene nonlinear optical chromophores has been studied. The variables examined tha t influence the rate of degradation include chromophore and host polymer st ructure, irradiation wavelength, temperature, and atmosphere.
