The following nematode species were found in t he large intestine: Chabertia ovina, Trichostrongylus suis, Globocepha lus urosubulatus, Oesophagostomum dentatum and Oesophagostomum longica udatum. Chabertia ovina was found in 3 wild swine in numbers of 2, 10 and 152 parasites per animal respectively. This is the first recorded occurrence of Chabertia ovina in wild swine in this country.
