Abstract
The tris-methylene bridged compound (NO)(4)Fe2Se(mu-CH2)(3) has been i solated. It has been characterised by IR and H-1, C-13, and Se-77 NMR spectroscopy. Its structure has been determined by single-crystal X-ra y diffraction methods. The structure consists of a heavy atom triangle consisting of one Se and two Fe atoms. The Fe-Fe and the two Fe-Se ed ges are bridged by methylene groups. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Sc ience S.A.
