Abstract
Orthomanganated aryl ketones undergo NiBr2(PPh3)(2)-promoted reactions with activated alkenes to give indanol products with higher specifici ty than similar Pd(II)- or Me3NO-promoted reactions. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
