Abstract
Thermal conductivity and resistivity of BSCCO/Ag, BSCCO/AgAu and AgMg tapes have been measured. The measured results are quite surprising and unexpect ed. In fact, despite of the alloy resistivities being nearly the same, the thermal conductivity of AgMg alloys is much lower than those of AgAu ones. This result can be understood taking into account the phonon contribution t o the thermal conductivity.
