Abstract
We show that the vacuum component of the total energy density in a cos mology with a decaying vacuum energy need not be very small. We emphas ize that there are models with a decaying vacuum energy in which cosmo logical problems like the initial singularity, horizon, entropy, monop ole are all solved.
