Abstract
A new exact solution for specific heat-phonon spectrum inversion using real functions is presented. This solution contains all the merits of the Debye scheme, and, in addition, the solution set is complete. The phonon spectru m of YBCO obtained by this new formula is consistent with that from neutron scattering.
