Abstract
The strong magnetic field influence on the anomalous (negative) thermal exp ansion was observed for La1.9Sr0.1CuO4 single crystals and Ba0.6K0.4BiO3 po lycrystals with cubic lattice symmetry. The observed magnetic field influen ce was the most prominent in the area of negative thermal expansion a at lo w temperatures. With magnetic field growing (up to 4T) the temperature inte rval with negative alpha was decreasing.
