The variations of the superconducting transition temperature T-c and the ma
gnetic transition temperature T-N as functions of the Dy concentration x in
the pseudo-quaternary system Er1-xDyxNi2B2C have been systematically inves
tigated by the measurements of electrical resistivity, magnetization, and s
pecific heat. A second magnetic phase transition T-m was observed for the c
ompounds with x=0.29, 0.30, and 0.31, with a concomitant suppression of T-c
. A similar second magnetic phase transition T-m and suppression of T-c wer
e also observed for the compounds with x=0.6, 0.7, and 0.8. These results p
rovided the (T-c,T-N)-x phase diagram of Er1-xDyxNi2B2C system.
