Abstract
A simple lattice model of repulsive particles diffusing in a pinning landsc ape is introduced. It shows many features similar to those observed in the vortex physics of superconductors, such as the reentrant phase diagram, cre ep dynamics, Bean-like profiles, hysteresis of magnetisation loops with the "second peak". The model is analytically and numerically tractable and off ers a schematic framework of magnetic behaviours.
