Abstract
In consideration of the importance of shape effects in electromagnetic meas urements, we extend the widely used flux conservation equations from 1D to 2D cases, and then generalize it for arbitrary cross section specimens, by combination of which with common measurement methods, we deduce the corresp onding general measurement equations for practical measures. Furthermore, t he related parameters are calculated and tabulated.
