Abstract
The two-band extended Hubbard model is studied using the dynamical mean fie ld theory. In the strict D = infinity limit, this model has spin-charge sep aration in the mixed-valence regime over a finite-range of interactions. Th e non-Fermi liquid state is found to survive the finite-D effects systemati cally incorporated in an extended dynamical mean field formulation.
