Using thr renormalization group approach proposed by Millis for the itinera
nt electron systems we calculated the specific heat coefficient gamma (T) f
or the magnetic fluctuations with susceptibility x(-1) similar to delta (al
pha) + \w \ (alpha) + f(q) near the Lifshitz point. The constant value obta
ined for alpha = 4/5 and title logarithmic temperature dependence, specific
for the non-Fermi behaviour, have been obtained in agreement with the expe
rimental data.
