Sp. Zhao et al., Effect of nonzero interface resistance on perpendicular upper critical field in layered superconductors, PHYSICA C, 341, 2000, pp. 273-274
Recently the proximity-effect theory of de Gennes and Werthamer is extended
to include a nonzero interface resistance in the calculation of the transi
tion temperature of layered superconductors. In this work, we take. account
of external magnetic field in the formalism to discuss the perpendicular u
pper critical field H-1/(c,2) of a layered SS' system (we set T-c,(S) > T-c
,(S), greater than or equal to 0). We show that the interplay among the mat
erial and sample. parameters can lead to a variety of distinct features in
H-1/(c,2)(T). Clear dimensional crossover is predicted for the SS' system w
ith low-resistivity S' layers. SS' system with low-resistivity S' layers.
