Abstract
The effect of thermal vacancies on the hardness of the annealed Fe-40at.% A l with additives (Zr + B and Zr + Cr) is measured. The effects observed in the temperature dependence of the hardness are compared with the subdivisio n of the B2 (FeAl) field of the Fe-Al equilibrium phase diagram.
