Activation of the carbon-fluorine bond is of upmost importance in several c
hemical processes. In search of synthetic alternatives to promote C-F bond
cleavage in arylic systems, several square planar palladium and platinum co
mpounds bearing fluorothiolates and fluorophosphines have been studied. In
