Abstract
This report describes a patient who presented with an unusual polyarthritis accompanied by myalgia, fever and anxiety. After extensive clinical and se rological evaluation, duodenal biopsy and serological tests provided eviden ce for the diagnosis of coeliac disease (CD). The patient was promptly put on a gluten-free diet, which led to an improvement in the clinical abnormal ities.
