Abstract
Nomograms for calculating thickness of shields against scattered X-rays gen erated at voltages of 75-450 kV are presented. The nomograms were calculate d for the common shielding materials, namely, lead, iron, and concrete, wit h due account of the spectrum of primary radiation, the contribution of sec ondary radiation, and new radiation safety regulations NRB-96.
