Abstract
Nano-Y2O3:Eu3+ powder was prepared by the homogeneous precipitation. W ith controlling the conditions of the reaction, nano powders with diff erent grain size were obtained. It is found that the blue-shift phenom ena exist in the nano-Y2O3:Eu3+ emission spectra excited by X-ray. The wave lengths of the peak (D-5(0)-->F-7(2)) are related with the grain size of the powder.
