Abstract
ZrO2, CuO, Al2O3 and SiO2 mixed nanopowder was used to coat the head o f sapphire single crystal fiber for improving the properties of high-t emperature single crystal fiber sensor. The result indicates that the head coated with above mixed nanopowder shows better optical stability , shorter response time and higher thermal shock resistance, in compar ison with the head coated with coarse-grained particles with the same chemical compositions.
