An interface crack between piezoelectric and elastic strips is analyzed usi
ng the theory of linear piezoelectricity. The combined out-of-plane mechani
cal and in-plane electrical loads are applied to the layered strip. Fourier
transforms are used to reduce the problem to a pair of dual integral equat
ions, which is then expressed in terms of a Fredholm integral equation of t
he second kind. The stress intensity factor is determined, and numerical an
alysis is performed and discussed.
