Y. Itabashi et T. Tsuda, Enantiomer separation of 1-O-alkylglycerols by HPLC on a chiral slurry-packed capillary column, BUNSEKI KAG, 49(12), 2000, pp. 1033-1036
Almost complete enantiomer separations of racemic 1-O-alkylglycerols as the
ir bis(3,5-dinitrophenylurethane) derivatives were achieved by HPLC using a
. slurry-packed fused-silica capillary (40 cm x 0.32 mm i.d.) with a chiral
phase, N-(S)-2-(4-chlorophenyl) isovaleroyl-D-phenylglycine, ionically bon
ded to 5 mum silica gel. The analysis was optimized by using a ternary mobi
le phase, n-hexane-1,2-dichloroethane-ethanol, and UV detection at 254 nm.
