B. Linder et Uao. Heinlein, DECREASED IN-VITRO FERTILIZATION EFFICIENCIES IN THE PRESENCE OF SPECIFIC CYRITESTIN PEPTIDES, Development, growth & differentiation, 39(2), 1997, pp. 243-247
Synthetic peptides corresponding to specific regions of the mouse acro
somal transmembrane protein cyritestin have been used as competitors i
n in vitro fertilization experiments. One peptide representing a putat
ive egg-receptor binding site within the disintegrin domain of cyrites
tin lowered the fertilization rate to 30% of the normal value.
