C. Locatelli et al., A new analytical procedure for simultaneous voltammetric metal determinations in sea water, sediments, algae and fishes, FR ENV BULL, 9(11-12), 2000, pp. 813-822
A new accurate and precise method for simultaneous determination of Cu(II),
Pb(II), Cd(II), Zn(II) NI(II), Co(II), Fe(III) and Mn(II) is applied to th
e samples drawn in the Gore Bay. Such analytical procedure entails the empl
oyment of highly reactive solutions of concentrated perchloric-hydrofluoric
acids (sediments), concentrated chloridric-nitric-sulphuric acids (algae a
nd fishes) and of Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV) as instrumental tech
nique, using ammonia-ammonium chloride buffer solution (pH 9.1) as supporti
ng electrolyte. The accuracy and the precision, expressed as relative error
and relative standard deviation, respectively, were in all cases lower tha
n 6 %.
