Abstract
Experience on operation and development of alternative ways for thermal loa ding simulation for plasma facing components (PFC) tests and other fusion t echnology experiments are described in the article. These methods are based on a simple heat transfer through soft carbon-based contacting interlayer. Nevertheless, the following specific heat fluxes on surfaces of tested moc k-ups were attained: up to 40 MW m(-2) at short-time regime (several min, 30 min); up to 10-12 MW m(-2) - at long-term (hundreds of h) non-stop or in cycling regimes. Three experimental rigs and one completely arranged facility utilising ment ioned method of on-surface thermal load creation, built in Efremov Institut e, are described in the article.
