Abstract
To analyze new, parallel computers, developers must rapidly simulate design s running realistic workloads. Historically, direct execution and a paralle l host have accelerated simulations, although these techniques have typical ly lacked portability. Through four key operations, the Wisconsin Wind Tunn el II can easily run simulations on Spare platforms ranging from a workstat ion cluster to a symmetric multiprocessor.
