Abstract
The reliable linear-quadratic (LQ) state feedback control for symmetric com posite systems is studied. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a state feedback controller to be a reliable LQ controller are given by using the s pecial structure of symmetric composite systems. Simple controller design m ethods are presented and an illustrative example is given.
