Pentecostalism in the Southern Cone countries - Overview and perspectives

This article presents a picture of the historical development and the prese nt situation of the various forms of Pentecostalism existing in Brazil, Arg entina, Uruguay and Chile. The article also presents a summary of the diffe rent theories about some themes: the diversity of the social actors reached by the Pentecostal message, the diversity of theologies, Neo-Pentecostalis m, Pentecostalism and politics and Pentecostalism and the media.
