Abstract
Focusing on the notable 1964 case of Application of the President and Direc tors of Georgetown College and subsequent cases, the author explores the co nnections between parents' and children's interests in ways which tend to s upport a parent's autonomy and hence a parent's refusal of life-straining t reatment.
