Abstract
Imaging plate emits ''prompt luminescence'' when a radiation enters. T he ratio of photo-stimulated luminescence intensity from latent image to prompt luminescence intensity depends on the type and energy of inc ident radiations. The ratio is smaller for the radiation with larger s topping power such as alpha-particle.
