Abstract
Using the XXZ model for the description of one-dimensional magnetic materia ls we show that an energy flux, j(E) produces a shift, deltak similar to ro otj(E), in the characteristic wavenumber of the spin-spin correlations. We estimate deltak for a realistic experimental setup and find that it is meas urable in inelastic neutron scattering experiments.
