Abstract
Combination interventions comprising single-stage angioplasty and reconstru cion by vascular surgery in the aortoiliac and femoropopliteal region meet the demand for minimal invasive vascular surgery. By means of intraoperativ e angioplasty, inflow and outflow are optimised far from the place of the v ascular surgery, We present that mode of procedure in bypass surgery and in the desobliteration of inguinal arteries. By means of transprosthetic and transluminal angioplastic measures, the results of the operation can be fur ther improved and secured. With the use of transprosthetic iliac angioplasty for improving the inflow of a crossover bypass, complications typical of puncture are avoided. Extended interventions of vascular surgery are only applied at a later time in case of recurrence after angioplasty.
