Abstract
The lateral shift of a light beam reflected from the interface between an o ptically transparent dielectric and a medium for which the frequency depend ences of the real and imaginary parts of the permittivity have a resonant f orm is investigated. At certain radiation frequencies and angles of inciden ce, a negative displacement of the reflected beam along the interface takes place. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
