Abstract
In this paper, we investigate theoretically some closed-form propagation ex pressions of Hermite-cosh-Gaussian laser beams through a paraxial optical A BCD system. By studying the propagation through an aperture, we have derive d the closed-form propagation expressions through an ABCD system as a limit when the aperture width is infinite. The closed-form propagation expressio ns are derived, as a function of the probability function, which relates th e electromagnetic fields on the input plane to those on its output plane.
