Abstract
The limonoid 21,24,25,26,27-pentanor-15,22-oxo-7 alpha ,23-dihydroxy-apotir
ucalla(eupha)-1-en-3-one was isolated from the di chloromethane extract of
the stem bark of Trichilia estipulata. Its structure was established by spe
ctroscopic methods (UV, EIMS, H-1 and C-13 NMR, HMQC and HMBC). (C) 2000 El
