Abstract
The kinetics of thermal imidization of the H complex of dimethyl dihydrogen 3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylate with a mixture of three diamines (a romatic, aliphatic, and heterocyclic) was studied by gas chromatography. Th e kinetic parameters of imidization of the H complex were compared with the foaming parameters. The optimal conditions for preparing elastic foamed po lyimides are proposed.
