Abstract
On August 10, 2000 the SEC adopted Regulation FD in an attempt to curtail t he practice of selective disclosure. This article provides a detailed analy sis of Regulation FD, examining its creation, its authority, and its possib le impact. Intimacy demands restraint le,ct the uninformed be exploited.(1) .
