Sharing our stories, empowering our lives: Don't dis me!

The paper is a virtual transcript of a presentation which outlined the prop osal for the development of a radical user-led empowerment project for peop le with disabilities with regard to sex and relationships. The Project inte grates elements of both the social and medical model and suggests practical ways to address deficits in self, body, and sexual esteem for people with disabilities. Interested pal-ties air invited to collaborate and support th is international Project through an Internet based listserve. The Project w as launched at the Conference ill Sari Francisco.
