Abstract
[(mu-eta (1)-Te-2)(mu -(NBu)-Bu-t)(2)V2Cp2] (2) is formed from [(BuN)-Bu-t
= VCp(PMe3)(2)] (1) upon reaction with elemental tellurium. 1 and 2 are cha
racterized by spectroscopic methods (MS; H-1, C-13, V-51 NMR), in addition
2 by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure indicates a fo
lded cyclodivanadazen ring bridged by a bidentated ditellurido ligand, the
first example of this structure type.
