Study an the interaction between polyamide and lanthanide ions

Temperature variable FT - IR spectroscopy was applied to study nylon 6 - la nthanide salt systems. Introduction lanthanide ion into the nylon systems c ause the following effects: 1) In the melting process, the amide band A in nylon - lanthanide salt systems exhibits red - shift rather than blue shift . 2) Significant variations on amide bands I and II are observed. Further s tudying on nylon lanthanide salt systems may be helpful in the development of lanthanide - polymer composite materials with high performance.
