R. Garnica et al., A STUDY OF THE INTERMOLECULAR NU(1)(5) VIBRATION IN OC-(HCL)-CL-35 BASED ON NEAR-INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY, Chemical physics letters, 272(5-6), 1997, pp. 484-488
The near infrared nu(2)+nu(5)(1) combination bands of OC-(HCl)-Cl-35 a
nd OC-(HCl)-Cl-37 have been recorded using a high frequency wavelength
modulation diode laser supersonic jet spectrometer. In addition, the
static gas phase spectra of the associated nu(2)+nu(5)(1)-nu(5)(1) and
nu(2)+2 nu(5)(2)-2 nu(5)(2) hot bands in OC-(HCl)-Cl-35 have been rec
orded using Fourier transform infrared absorption spectroscopy. The co
mbined results permitted the evaluation of the hand origin of 48.9944(
2) cm(-1), a rotational constant of 0.0565731(6) cm(-1), a distortion
constant of 1.906 X 10(-7)(6) cm(-1) and the Coriolis coupling constan
t of 0.0001466(2) cm(-1) for the low frequency intermolecular bending
vibration of the OC-(HCl)-Cl-35 isotopomer. (C) 1997 Published by Else
